On-board air suspension levelling system has fairing-mounted control panel. Electrically-operated relief switch prevents accidental suspension air loss. Auxiliary air valve for tire inflation (hose provided)
Type III AM/FM stereo receiver with handlebar-mounted rider controls for automatic signal-seeking and frequency scanning, plus auto-reverse cassette player. Ambience controller increases stereo separation effect of cassette player, while speed-sensitive automatic volume control also changes tone composition as speed increases. Optional 40-channel CB unit, rider/passenger intercom, as well as passenger controller with switch for CB talk function, volume control for intercom, radio, CB and cassette, and integrated map reading light

GOLD WING INTERSTATE GLI200I

Phenomenally smooth, very sure-footed and almost maintenance-free, the Interstate is the clear leader of touring motorcycles. Digital LCD instrumentation includes speedometer (in km/h or mph), tachometer (digital or analog), fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, oil temperature, and gear position. Fairing-mounted instruments include voltmeter, radio frequency and suspension setting indicator

Electronic travel computer displays: 1) Time/speed information (time, time in other zones in North America, elapsed time, average speed in miles or kilometres, regular or reverse distance counter). 2) Fuel information (current fuel consumption rate, average trip fuel consumption rate, fuel consumed, fuel remaining, approximate range remaining).

Hondaline type III AM/FM stereo radio with auto-reverse cassette player features PLL synthesizer, auto volume control (utilizing speed information to increase or decrease volume and change tone characteristics), ambience controller (to increase stereo separation effect of cassette player) and handlebar-mounted automatic signal-seeking tuning control and mute-sound control. Four-speaker system with balancer/fader control uses two fairing-mounted front speakers and two travel trunk-mounted rear speakers. Rider-passenger intercom system.
